


Importing Audio from Video into GarageBand Finally, when you’re satisfied with the content of your movie, simply save it and it will be ready to watch! You can repeat this process with multiple files from GarageBand if desired. This will alow you to browse for the file to be inserted into your movie project. Once the song is saved, you can open your iMovie project and tap the + sign, then Files. A share sheet will appear and tap Open in… > Save to Files. Choose your options for the song, then press Share. Then press and hold the song you want to insert into your movie, then tap Share > Song. To use GarageBand and iMovie together, you first need to open GarageBand on your iPad. Once you are satisfied with your adjustments, tap “Done” to save them.

You can also adjust other aspects of your audio clips such as volume, fade-in/out times, and more by tapping on them and selecting from the options that appear at the bottom of your screen. Drag the trim handles at either end of the clip to the points whee you want the audio to begin and end. This will make yellow trim handles appear. In the timeline, tap the audio clip (in blue or purple) or the background music clip (in green) you want to adjust. To edit audio on iMovie, open a movie project in the iMovie app on your iPhone.
